FOR WHOM IS THIS LOCATION?

This location is for students coming to Amsterdam temporarily for academic purposes such as a course, internship or PhD. They have to be enrolled at an educational institution in The Netherlands or abroad.

CAN I STAY HERE IF I'M NOT A STUDENT?

All Student Experience locations require residents to be enrolled at an educational institution, whether it is for a course, an internship or a PhD for example. To verify this, we ask you to submit a proof of enrollment.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER WITH THE MUNICIPALITY?

Yes, you do because you are staying with us for a period longer than 4 months. Should you not register, you'll have to pay city tax.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHECK IN BEFORE NOVEMBER 1ST?

We are dotting the i's and crossing the t's to welcome you to a brand new full service location! Therefore it is not possible to check in earlier.

Student Experience Amsterdam Minervahaven offers a fixed stay period from November 1st 2020 until Juy 31st 2021. You are free to check in later or leave earlier, but your booking period (and thus costs) remains the same.

CAN I CANCEL AFTER I'VE ACCEPTED A STUDIO?

After you have accepted your booking, it is no longer possible to cancel it.

WHAT DOES THE CHECK-IN SERVICE CONSIST OF?

To make your limited time here as fun as possible, we'll help you to take care of the tedious business when you arrive. We can help you with municipality business, with banking and finding your way around town, for example.

WHAT IS THE SELF-QUARANTINE LIKE IF I'M COMING FROM A CODE ORANGE/RED COUNTRY?

Upon arrival you will be requested to self-quarantine for 10 days in your studio. We will make sure you have the essentials for the first days and inform you of where to order groceries and food. We are around to help you!
