How do I apply for an apartment?

You can register on the website for a student apartment in AmstelHome, Ravel Residence or Nautique Living if an apartment is available on the room selector. If you are interested, please follow the registration process through the room selector. We advise you to check the website on a regular basis for more information about the availability. If an apartment becomes available it will be released on the website from Monday to Friday between 10 AM and 12 PM. You can only register when an apartment is available. It is not possible to take over an apartment from a current resident.


Can I be informed when an apartment becomes available?

Student Experience does not work with a waiting list. Every student has an equal chance at an apartment. You can only register when an apartment is available. The availability is updated from Monday to Friday between 10 AM and 12 PM. The first one to finish the registration process is ensured of an apartment.

Do I have to be enrolled at an educational institution at the time of application?

When you move into an apartment, you must be enrolled at an educational institution.

At the time of moving into your apartment in either AmstelHome or Nautique Living, you need to be enrolled as a student at an MBO, HBO or University educational institution. You must submit a copy of a valid student ID or a valid registration certificate from your educational institution.

At the time of moving into your apartment in Ravel Residence, you need to be enrolled as a full-time student at an MBO, HBO or University educational institution in the Amsterdam region. 


Can I register for a single apartment with 2 people?

No, this is not permitted by law.
