Fun things to do in Amsterdam this fall

Now that temperatures are dropping, it's almost time for warm coats, hats and gloves. Autumn is such a cozy season; there is plenty to do, especially in Amsterdam. Go to a dance party during ADE, visit various museums during Museum Night, cuddle up together during the Amsterdam Winterterras Festival or stroll through one of the many lively Sunday markets.

ADE festival

From 19 to October 23, Amsterdam will become the world's dance capital during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). There are a lot of conferences, workshops, masterclasses, meetings and parties happening throughout the city during these days. You can find more information about the festival, such as the program and where to buy tickets, on the ADE website.  Are all the parties you like already sold out? Check out Ticketswap and turn on a notification for your favourite event. Many tickets are often offered during the week before ADE.

Museum night

Do you feel like discovering the Amsterdam cultural scene? Then sign up for the 'Museum Nacht' on Saturday, November 5, from 19.00 to 00.00. During this evening you can visit up to 60 museums and the latest exhibitions, check out the music program or follow guided tours and workshops.

Always wanted to spray graffiti yourself? Come to STRAAT Museum and participate in the evening's largest collective work of art! Print a canvas bag at the Amsterdam School Museum Het Schip or take a 20-minute crash course at ARTIS Planetarium about everything you see and don't see in the universe. As you see, there are many different things to do this evening.

A ticket costs €22.50 and gives you access to a lot of museums. After this event, your wristband is suitable for a free visit to one of the museums from November 6 to December 31. That way, you already have another fun activity for this fall.
