Our goal is to allow as many students as possible to live in the city where they study. Therefore, our studios are only available to students. To guarantee this, our contracts contain a campus clause and you must provide a proof of enrolment for your education each year. What does this mean? We will explain here.

WHAT IS A CONTRACT WITH CAMPUS CLAUSE?

Are you signing a contract with us? Then you accept the campus clause. This means you are allowed to live here as long as you are studying. Are you quitting your studies or are you graduating? Then you can stay at Student Experience for another six months. This gives you time to find a new living space that suits your new phase in life!

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS OF A CAMPUS CONTRACT?

At the time of check-in, you must be registered as a student at a secondary vocational or higher professional education institution or at University. That's it!

Pay attention! The following conditions apply per location.
Location Amsterdam Zuidas:
- You study full-time in Amsterdam
Locations Amsterdam Amstel and Amsterdam NDSM:
- You study full-time or part-time in the Netherlands

SUBMITTING PROOF OF ENROLMENT

Every year, before the 1st of October, we check whether our students are in the possession of a valid proof of enrolment.

You are expected to upload this proof in the service portal.

WHAT MUST BE STATED ON THE PROOF OF ELROLMENT?

A proof of enrolment must contain the following information:

  • Name student
  • Study choice (full-time/part-time)
  • Academic year
  • Name of educational institution
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT SUBMIT THE PROOF OF ENROLMENT?

You are responsible for submitting your proof of enrolment, but also for reporting changes and possible termination of your studies.

Do you fail to report this? Then you receive a fine of €100,-.
Shame, right? Just communicate it in time, easy as that!
